So, today was Inauguration Day. Donald Trump took the reins as president of the United States on again. I’m am full of emotions: disbelief that we came to this points, disgust at our perceptions throughout the world, disdain for the current office holders (in every brand of the government, and fear for those who don’t look like me).

Over at CNN, there’s a good article about the 50th Anniversary of this seminal album—an album that seems almost as current today as it would have then (not that I have that first hand knowledge): “50 years after Marvin Gaye asked, ‘What’s Going On?’ America still searching for an answer”.
